Curious and having the desire to go on an adventure, I decided to volunteer in education. That's how I left my hometown, Montreal, to go to Senegal for a year. Volunteer of CECI's Uniterra program, I am a training engineering consultant for the Office National de formation professionnelle (ONFP) translated as the National Office for Vocational Training, located in Dakar.
In Montreal, I worked with various clienteles, both in elementary and high school, before becoming an educational consultant in distance education at college level.
Now in Senegal, I embrace the mission of my partner ONFP, to allow the greatest number to have access to quality professional training.
The Volunteers’ Blog is a space open to all volunteers engaging in international cooperation. It is a space for volunteers to share their experiences supporting community and country development accross the globe. Through this initiative, CECI invite you to discover the stories of volunteers all over the world!
