I am a fourth year International Development student at the University of Waterloo. I am currently on an 8 month placement (Sept. 2017 - Apr. 2018) in Ghana with an environmental non-governmental organization called A Rocha. A Rocha focuses on contributing to the effective management of the earth’s resources through sustainable and innovative actions. As a Students Without Borders volunteer for the Uniterra program, I am participating in research and advocacy, policy making, and outreach and education within nearby schools and communities.
The Volunteers’ Blog is a space open to all volunteers engaging in international cooperation. It is a space for volunteers to share their experiences supporting community and country development accross the globe. Through this initiative, CECI invite you to discover the stories of volunteers all over the world!
